5．Application Condition

All the cables, pipes, and embedded parts installations in the cabins are to be finished beforehand.

Impurities such as Iron, rusts and paints on the primary steel plates are to be removed meanwhile the surface preparation is carried out according to the requirements of CB3230 Grade P2 or ISO8501-1.1988 st2.

 

6．Blending Ratio and Method

Blend ratio of the bottom covering: one barrel setting promoting powder matching with one packs stuffing aggregate, adding about 34kg water. First, add about 50% of the required clean water and stir. When Super Light Stuffing aggregate has been moisturized, add the setting promoting powder and the rest 50% water and stir. The covering is ready when it is mixed evenly and can be a mass easily by hand.

Blend ratio of the bottom covering: one barrel setting promoting powder matching with one packs stuffing aggregate, adding about 7-8kg water、feed Setting Promoting Powder and Light Stuffing aggregate into the agitator and mix. Add the water as required later and stir, the covering is ready when it is mixed evenly like thick mud.

 

7． Application Procedure

Pour the mixed light bottom covering onto the primary steel plate, trim the covering to thickness of 30mm as specified with a wooden ruler. Consolidate the covering with a trowel.

When this layer of covering is finished, it should be maintained under ambient temperature for at least 24 hours.

Lay out the steel meshes. Overlaps of the meshes should be more than 80mm and not exceed 3 layers. The overlaps should be fastened by zinc-plating iron wire.

Pour the mix face covering onto the steel meshes, tim and consolidate the covering with ruler while lifting the meshes about 5 to 10 higher, then consolidate and level the coverings to the thickness of 20mm as specified.

 

8． Attention

In construction, the stirred covering should be completed in 40 minutes. If stirred manually, it should be stirred evenly.

The water amount in the component blending ratio of covering is given under ambient temperature, this amount can be adjusted according to the actual thickness of the mixtures as the temperature and the application methods vary.

In the whole maintenance and application period, the environmental temperature may be a range 5℃ -30℃, lowering the temperature if the temperature is higher than 30℃ or heat preservation measure is to be taken if the temperature is lower than 5℃ .

When the covering is hardened, it should be kept for maintenance for 2 to 3 days with spray of water or maintaining agent on its surface.

All materials are to be stored free from sunlight, rain dip and under the specified temperature. The quality assurance period of the covering is 4 months.
